Persepolis Ventures is a private venture capital fund focused on seed and early-stage investments in medical devices and digital health technologies. As a private fund, we retain maximum flexibility in our approach to fund and assist entrepreneurs.

Investment Stage, Size & Strategy

Our preferred investment entry point is at the Seed or Series A round. Our typical early-stage investments range from a half million to one million dollars. We reserve capital to participate alongside investors in later rounds.

We invest in amazing people with inspiring ideas and are open to evaluating opportunities outside our core areas of interest. However, we tend to have a bias towards

• Medical Devices
• Digital Health (or e-Health)

We prefer opportunities where we can 

• Attain proof of concept early-on    
• Identify and execute an optimal clinical & regulatory path to market 
• Achieve value creating milestones in the first 12 to 18 months

An important component of our funding strategy is to sufficiently capitalize companies in order to realize the predetermined value creating milestones prior to the next round of financing.

Ross Khosrovi is the Founder &  Managing General Partner of Persepolis Ventures. He has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry as an investor and senior  investment banker and overseas all aspects of the fund's investment portfolio and overall strategy.  Ross received his MBA from The Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science from The Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley.
